THEATRE #20 - Before I saw the show last night I thought, “Why would they revive this on Broadway now?” There’s nothing in this production that answers that question. There’s also nothing in this production that answers the question, “Why does my ticket cost so much money?”  A cheap, ugly physical production with lifeless direction, repetitive choreography and noble performers making the best of it.  Everyone in the theater - on stage and off - seemed like they’d rather be somewhere else.
