Unfortunately, the UCBT performances of Gutenberg! with Scott Brown and I in the roles of Bud and Doug (respectively) are now lost to us, alive only in the memories of those who saw it and lived to tell the tale.

However (ahem) - Christmas season is upon us and the Off-Broadway cast recording is available via Amazon in CD or MP3 formats.  It makes a fantastic gift.

P.S. Looking for the link to Amazon led me to this AMAZING negative review of the show from someone who missed the central conceit so much it almost seems impossible.  The last line of his response when someone pointed that out to him is awesome: “If you ever get a chance, see Butt Pirates of Carribean. Very funny, not a great play, but I was lucky to see it from a Fringe festival with good actor/singers. Even the title makes me laugh.”
