If you haven’t been to Dirt Candy before, allow me to give you a reason to go. GRAPEFRUIT POPS They’re pieces of fresh, juicy grapefruit coated in a hard shell of sugary deliciousness and served on a stick on top of the Dirt Candy Mixed Green Salad (which also features, by the way, Grilled Cheese Croutons - which are exactly what they sound like.  And yes, they are also delicious.)  Both are pictured above.  But: GRAPEFRUIT POPS Seriously.  I don’t know why they were on a salad instead of a dessert tray, but they are not messing around.  If you like grapefruit or sugar or doing something different to break the monotony of your dull life, you have to try them.
